Just a thought...

As much as I like Glenn, and have the greatest respect for the 9-12 Project, as well as, the Tea Party rallies, I have some reservations about the effectiveness of any of it (in the end). While I feel very much at odds (down right shame for) with both political parties in DC (and in my state), I fell that those exhibiting the clearest and most present danger to the American public are the Democrats. Is it not possible that the most probable effect of all this (in its present form) will be to take Republican (under the guise of "Libertarian" and "Independent") votes away, thus ushering in a further Democratic majority, and 4 more years for the Obama crew?

Also, do we really have the time to wait for the next mid-term election? We are not seeing any real effective candidates come forward, nor credible existing seated representatives in Washington. Maybe we should take a second look at the possibility of getting our individual states (and local governments) in order, and taking charge of their own (our own) destiny.

State Secession...
Well, this seems to be the most drastic of possibilities, BUT, if the citizens within a state want this for their own self-reliance then so be it. Maybe, if states across the nation did this (with the intention of reforming and restoring our nation) it would reset our government. If it were to come to this, I would rather see our nation fragment into pieces, keeping some enclave of freedom still alive than this continued unholy disaster under the present regime.

In the end, most of what's going on appears to be "symbolism-over-substance," and may do nothing but lead to further disillusionment and liberal empowerment.
